The key is consistency, the big boys of Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal understand this. It's one thing for Man City to be up for a home match against Liverpool but if you don't show the same intensity against Sunderland, you're likely to come up short.
The same thing goes for Tottenham Hotspur, 'big' European tie midweek, a loss to Wigan on the weekend. This weekend proves that the premiership will be much of the same, with Tottenham and Man City fighting it out for fourth.
Chelsea continue to look strong, not a great performance but managed to get the three points. Anelka continues to impress in his free role, lets wait and see if he's allowed such a role against better opposition.
Arsenal won a tough away game at Bolton, a game they may have lost last season. Walcott's looking good but I still have reservations about the gk and cb positions.
Manchester United took the three points at home to West Ham in a routine victory. As always Man Utd looked strong at home but I still question whether they have the depth to go all the way.
